Description

67 and 69 Thornsett are 18th century stone cottages located in New Mills. They are two storeys high and constructed from coursed stone, now topped with a roof of Welsh slates and featuring stone stacks at the gable ends. Each cottage has two windows with three lights and stone mullions on both floors. There is one door with a later stone surround and another door with a stone surround that includes impost and plinth blocks, topped with a later hood supported by brackets. The cottages have been repointed, and there are also stone mullion windows at the rear.
