Description
Daisybank Farmhouse is a farmhouse and cottage that have been combined into one building. It dates from the mid-18th century and was raised in the early 19th century. The structure is made of red brick with brick dressings and has a plain tile roof featuring brick gable and ridge stacks, along with a plain band at the first floor level.
The building has three storeys and three bays. The entrance features a segment-headed doorcase with a 20th-century glazed door. To the west, there is a segment-headed window with a painted stone keystone and 20th-century glazing. On the east side, there are two similar windows, and to the far west, there is a small segment-headed blocked opening.
Above the entrance, there are three two-light glazing bar sliding sashes under segment heads with stone keystones. The added storey has three segment-headed windows, with two on the west side featuring sliding sashes, and one on the east side that has a three-light 20th-century casement window.
