Description
No. 34 on Church Street is a late 18th century double house, although its facade was rebuilt around 1835. The building is constructed of red brick and features a moulded plaster cornice with a parapet. It has three storeys and three windows, with sash windows on all floors except the ground floor, which have glazing bars. Each window is adorned with moulded keyblocks and engraved lintels. The entrance is highlighted by a stuccoed Roman Doric doorcase, which includes columns that support friezes with triglyphs and a dentilled pediment. The front door is a six-panelled design, and there is a similar door and archivolt with impost blocks leading to a side passage.
