Description
Old Hall Farmhouse and the attached barn date from the mid-18th century. The farmhouse is constructed of red brick, while the house is pebble dashed. It features a plain tile roof with stone coped gables and moulded kneelers, along with one brick ridge stack. The building is two storeys high, with the barn located to the west and the house to the east, both under a continuous roof.
On the southwest elevation, the house, which has been altered in the 18th century, includes a gabled porch with a three-light wooden casement window to the left. Above this, there is a similar window, with a two-light window slightly higher to the left and a two-light window in a gabled half dormer above. The barn features a segmental arched cart entrance to the left with plank doors, a segmental arched doorway to the right, and a bricked-up segmental arched window. Above, there are three segmental arched openings, each with plank doors. The gable end elevation of the house has two windows on the ground floor with moulded keystones, two similar but smaller windows above, and a semi-circular window in the gable, all featuring keystones.
