Description

Rowsley Old Station, built around 1849, was designed by Joseph Paxton. It is a single-storey stone building featuring three semi-circular headed windows, along with one blocked window. There are two doorways that have segmental fanlights above them. The station has bold bracketed eaves and stone stacks, with a slate roof. It is no longer in use.
