Description

Crowtrees Farmhouse is an early 18th-century brick farmhouse with a plain tile roof and stone coped gables featuring plain kneelers. Brick gable end stacks are present. The south elevation has five bays. The central doorway has a moulded stone surround, leading to a panelled door with a blocked overlight featuring a mullion. To the right of the doorway is a 19th-century wooden cross window, and to its right, a glazing bar sash window. To the left of the doorway is a blocked window, and to its left again, a glazing bar sash window. The first floor has a large glazing bar sash window centrally positioned. To the right are two smaller glazing bar sashes, and to the left, a blocked window and a glazing bar sash. All windows are surrounded by brick voussoirs and have a keystone. A double string band runs above the ground floor and again above the first floor, and a moulded stone eaves band is present.
