SK 13 NE PARISH OF CUBLEY CHURCH LANE 5/18 (East Side) Table Tomb 14 yards south of south porch of St Andrews Church GV II

Table tomb. Early C18. Sandstone. Flush panelled base with rusticated quoins to each corner and a central rusticated band to each side. Above, thick slab with fillet to edge and deep chamfered sides. Inscription on eastern panel to north side saying 'Here lieth the ? of Robert Wh? who de-parted this life August ? 170?'. One of a group of early C18 gravestones and table tombs in Cubley churchyard.
