Description
Windybank Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century and around 1864. It features a red brick construction with a plain tile roof and brick gable stacks. The building has a brick dentil eaves cornice and consists of two storeys plus garrets, arranged in an L-plan. The symmetrical southwest elevation has three bays, with a central doorway that has a segmental head. There is a mid-19th century gabled porch with bracketed timber work and a tiled roof, flanked on each side by three-light wooden casement windows, also under segmental heads. Above, there are two similar windows on either side of a 2-light window. A wing added around 1864 is located at the rear.
