Description
Penmore House is an early 19th-century building located on Hasland Road. It is constructed of colourwashed ashlar and features a plinth, with a hipped stone slate roof and a moulded eaves cornice. The building is two storeys high.
The southern facade, which faces the road, has two sash windows with glazing bars, along with a late 19th-century bay window on the ground floor. The eastern facade, which serves as the entrance, has three windows; the centre window on the first floor is round arched, and there is a late 19th-century square bay window on the ground floor. This facade also includes a central Doric porch with a flat hood, leading to a six-panelled door, of which the top four panels are now glazed, and a radial fanlight above the door.
On the western facade, there are two round arched windows at mezzanine level, featuring Gothic glazing bars.
