Description

Palterton Hall is a small country house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings and features a Welsh slate roof with ridge and gable stacks. The building has three storeys and is characterized by chamfered quoins and a moulded eaves cornice. The west elevation consists of five bays, with a central doorway that has a moulded architrave and hoodmould. The doorway is a half-glazed panelled door, flanked by glazing bar sash windows in plain architraves. Above the door, there are five similar windows, with five smaller versions of these windows located above again.
