Description
Wildersley Farmhouse is a building dating from the 16th to early 17th century. It is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features a plinth, with coped gable ends supported by kneelers. The farmhouse has a thatched roof, which is now damaged, and includes end and off-centre chimneys. The southern facade, which is in a state of ruin, has two projecting gabled bays, each two and a half storeys high, with the western bay serving as a porch. Generally, there are three windows featuring splayed stone mullions, architraves, and dripstone moulds. The door is framed by quoins and has a large stone lintel. The western end elevation has one similar window on each floor. However, part of the roof, attic, and the eastern projecting bay are now badly damaged.
