Description

This is a late 18th century road bridge located to the southwest of St Matthews Church. It features a single arch made of ashlar gritstone, with a semi-circular arch supported by voussoirs beneath a broad band. The parapet wall is splayed at the ends and has chamfered copings, which terminate in plain square piers.
