Description

Fritchley Windmill Tower is a 18th-century tower that was part of a former windmill. It has a squat, wide, low circular shape made of coursed rubble gritstone, featuring large projecting plinth pads for the mill's cross-tree. The structure has plain door and window openings with flush stone frames. There are no surviving machinery or fittings inside.
