Description

The Cottage is a large house, likely built in the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a stone tiled roof with coped gables. The building has moulded stone chimney stacks and stands two storeys high with a three-unit plan. The entrance door is located to the left of the centre of the elevation, leading into a through passage behind the stack. On the ground floor, there is a small fire window and three 16-light sash windows, while the upper floor has 12-light sash windows. All openings, including the door, are topped with flat timber lintels.
