Description

Nos. 2 and 4 on Nook Lane are two cottages built from coursed rubble stone with a thatched roof featuring stone and brick ridge and end stacks. The cottages are gable facing, with the front oriented to the right. They are 1½ storeys high and include, from left to right, a 3-light centre opening casement, a door, a 6/6 sash window, another 3-light casement, and a door. Above these, there are three eyebrow dormers: two with 3-light windows and one on the right with two 3-light casements. There are also single-storey extensions at the rear. The right end of the building adjoins No. 3 on Audit Hall Road.
