Description

Little Yew Tree is a late 17th-century cottage located on the east side of Main Street, Preston. The cottage is constructed of rubble with ashlar detailing, and originally had a thatched roof. It is 1½ storeys high, and features a 19th-century brick addition to the right. The left side of the cottage has a 2-light dormer window, while the right side features a 4-light casement. A stone mullioned window with four lights is situated on the ground floor to the right of a timber-panelled door. The cottage has two gable-end brick stacks.
