Description

A cottage, originally a farmhouse, was built in 1722. It is constructed from coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and has a thatched roof. The building is two storeys and has an attic. A later addition exists to the right. The first floor has one three-light casement window and one two-light casement window. The ground floor has one four-light casement window to the left and a five-light shallow bay window to the right. A central doorway provides entry. Two gable end stacks, one at each end, and a central brick stack are present. The building was formerly known as Glebe Farmhouse and was situated on Village Street.
