Description
The Rectory is a house, formerly serving as a rectory, built in the 18th century and remodelled in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick, featuring a plinth and band, and has a hipped roof made of Welsh slate with a moulded stone ridge and side stacks. The building has wide eaves and the main front is oriented to the left. It stands two storeys tall and has three 2/2 sash windows in moulded stone frames. There is a tripartite sash window on either side of the central doorway, which has a brick lintel. The entrance features a four-panelled door with glazed upper panels and an overlight, facing The Green. To the left of the entrance is a similar sash window, and there is a central moulded stone porch supported by square Tuscan piers, an entablature, and a low parapet, with glazed sides and two sash windows above.
