Description

Nos. 7 and 8 on Post Office Lane are two cottages dating from the 17th to 18th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble stone and feature thatch, Collyweston slate, and Welsh slate roofs, which have brick ridges and end stacks. The cottages are 1½ storeys high and have a total of seven casement windows arranged as 2, 3, 2, 2, 1, 1, and 2-light. There are two buttresses on the left side and a lean-to structure at the left end. Additionally, the cottages have two eyebrow dormers, doors, and a two-storey wing at the rear, which also has a Collyweston slate roof.
