Description

This is an 18th and 19th century cottage located on the north side of Mill Lane in Cottesmore. It is built of coursed rubble stone with a thatched roof and pantile sections, featuring brick end stacks. The main part of the cottage has 1½ storeys, with two eyebrow dormers containing 20th-century windows. There’s a two-light window, a French window, and a gabled porch with a door. A 1½-story extension to the right also has a pantile roof, two dormers with 20th-century windows, and further 20th-century windows below. Inside, you’ll find a long beam and an inglenook.
