Description

Ivey House is a house, possibly originally two dwellings, dating to the 18th and 19th centuries. It is built in two distinct phases. The construction combines rubble and brick, with a Welsh slate roof. The house is two storeys high. The right-hand section is the earlier part, built of rubble with angle quoins, featuring two casement windows on the ground floor and four-light sash windows above. The ground floor continues to the left-hand part, where a straight joint is visible at first floor level, with brick eaves present. This left-hand section has a single casement window to the ground floor and two four-light sash windows above. The rear of the left-hand section is entirely brick, indicating a possible rebuilding of an earlier structure. Gable and axial stacks are present.
