Description

No. 50, Well Street, is a house likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with angle quoins, and has a new roof covering. The building has a three-unit plan, with the third unit situated to the right of the entrance. There are two windows to the left of the doorway. These are 6-light sashes, but appear as eaved 3-light casements. All openings are topped with flat timber lintels. Gable and axial stacks are present. A new timber gabled porch has been added to the doorway.
