Description
Ketton Hall Cottages, dating from the 17th century, were originally an outbuilding, later converted into a stable flanked by two cottages in the late 18th or early 19th century. The building is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings, and has a plain tile roof with coped gables, and stone stacks at the left-hand end and along the ridge.
The left-hand cottage features a door and a two-light window, both beneath lintels with flush keystones. Two hipped, two-light dormer windows break through the eaves. The stable section contains a door, also beneath a lintel with a keystone, flanked by three-light round-headed windows with keystones and glazing bars. A central boarded opening is visible on the first floor. The right-hand cottage features a door and two two-light casement windows, also beneath lintels with flush keystones. Two two-light windows are positioned at eaves level on the first floor. A two-storey, gabled extension from the 19th century, which is not considered to be of particular architectural interest, adjoins the right-hand side.
