Description

Swooning Bridge is likely from the early 19th century. It features an ashlar parapet resting on a brick base, with four buttresses that have pyramidal finials. The east parapet has a curved abutment, and there is a stone band at road level. The bridge also displays graffiti dating from 1830 onwards.
