Description
No 4 Catmos Street is an early 18th century cottage featuring red and blue chequered brick and a slate roof. The building has a moulded wood eaves cornice and a painted stone band. It stands two storeys tall with attics, and includes two dormers with leaded casements. There are three windows with hung sashes, plain reveals, and cambered arches with keystones. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a wood doorcase and a rectangular fanlight, topped by a plain triangular wood hood supported on brackets. Additionally, there is a small one-storey extension with one window on the south side, constructed of painted stone and also featuring a slate roof.
