Description

19 and 21 Mill Street are late 16th century cottages made of colour-washed stone and topped with reed thatch. They are two stories high and feature three windows: one with a sliding sash and the others with flush flood hung frames and wood lintels. The early 19th century panelled wood doorcase has Doric pilasters and a moulded cornice with paterae, along with a small rectangular fanlight and a small hood. Number 21 has a plain door beneath a flat wood lintel. These cottages are part of a group that includes Nos 11A to 21 (odd).
