Description

Pinfold Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was formerly part of a range. It is constructed of coursed rubble and has a thatched roof, standing at one and a half storeys high. The cottage features two eyebrow dormers with two-light casements and two three-light casements on the ground floor, which flank a central entry. All ground floor openings have timber lintels. There are two brick stacks at the gable ends. A 20th-century addition to the left is not of special interest. In the garden, directly in front of the entry, there is a wooden framed iron water pump.
