Description
27 Pelham Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. It was built around 1800, altered around 1880, and restored in 1992. The building features painted brick with painted ashlar dressings and a slate roof that has moulded brick eaves and two gable stacks. It stands three storeys tall and has a three-window range of plain sashes with wedge lintels and double keystones. Above this, there are three 12-pane sashes set on a sill band. The full-width wooden shopfront, dating from around 1880, includes fluted pilasters and fascia brackets, a recessed glazed door with an overlight, and single windows on either side. There is also an ashlar column and entry opening to the left.
