Description
Lenton Firs Lodge (west) is a disused lodge built around 1830, with later 19th-century additions and restored in 1992. It is constructed of brick with an ashlar front, all painted. The building features hipped slate roofs behind a parapet and has a quadruple central stack with octagonal flues, showcasing a Tudor Revival style. Architectural details include a plinth, string course, and a moulded coped parapet. The lodge is single-storey and has a cruciform plan with three bays. The central bay projects towards the drive and includes a flat-roofed porch with a Tudor arched opening and a matching blocked door, flanked by single light windows. Beyond this, there are two-light windows with stone mullions. The left side facing Derby Road has a two-light window to the right. All windows are adorned with moulded surrounds and label moulds.
