DERBY ROAD (South side), Lenton Firs Lodge (west)

Lodge, now disused. c1830, with later C19 additions, restored 1992. Brick with ashlar front, all painted. Hipped slate roofs behind parapet, with quadruple central stack with octagonal flues. Tudor Revival style. Plinth, string course, moulded coped parapet. Single storey; 3 bays. Cruciform plan. Towards the drive, a projecting central bay with a flat roofed porch with Tudor arched opening and matching blocked door. On each side, a single light window. Beyond, 2-light windows with stone mullions. Left return, to Derby Road, has a 2-light window to right. All the windows have moulded surrounds and label moulds.
