Description

Four lamp posts located on the north side of the Council House in Nottingham were constructed around 1929, likely designed by Cecil Howitt for Nottingham City Council. These octagonal cast-iron posts feature finials and each has a crossbar that supports two pendant electric lamps. The lamps have chamfered corners and opaque glass. The lamp posts are included in the listing for their group value.
