Description

Nos 37 and 38 on Corn Market are mid-18th century buildings made of red brick and stand three storeys tall. Originally, there were five sash windows, but No 38 has altered its first storey. The centre of the building projects forward and features a pediment. Beneath this, the first storey has a Venetian window, while the second storey has a mini-circular window. There is a rusticated stone coach arch below, along with a modillion eaves cornice and a brick parapet. Modern shop fronts are present on either side. Nos 34 to 38 form a group.
