Description

No 33 is a late 18th century building located on the south side of Market Place. It is constructed of red brick and has three storeys. The building features two sash windows, with the first storey windows lacking glazing bars, and flat brick arches above them. On the right-hand side, there is a simple moulded wood doorcase that includes a rectangular fanlight and a modern door. The building also has a moulded stone eaves cornice and a restored parapet. The roof is tiled but covered with modern mineral felt. No 33 is part of a group that includes the Guildhall, Market Hall, and Nos 35 and 36.
