Description
The Old Bell Hotel is a much altered and restored building originally constructed in the 17th century, featuring a combination of brick and timber framing. It stands four storeys tall, with the uppermost level displaying four gables, each containing one window. The windows have modern leaded casements and there is a significant amount of modern decorative ornamentation. Inside, there is a staircase dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. The exterior includes two rainwater heads dated 1717, marked with the letters G.R., and a smaller head dated 1774. Additionally, there is a later two-storey extension on the west side.
