Description

4 The Hollow is a building dating from the 16th or 17th century. It features a square panelled timber frame with red brick infilling and stands two storeys high. The building has a deep stone base and is adorned with two and three-light windows, which are generally small-paned casements. There is a plain doorway that is accompanied by a modern porch. The gabled end facing the road is rendered and includes a small casement window with a sliding sash, while the ground storey window has a small weather hood supported by brackets. The roof is tiled. This property, along with Nos 4 to 8, forms a group.
