Description

Home Farmhouse is an 18th century building located on Markeaton Lane. It is constructed of red brick and has two storeys with five windows. Three of these windows are fitted with 19th century wooden mullions and transoms, while two windows are blocked, and all feature plain stone keyblocks. The facade includes two stone bands, and the doorway is topped with a plain rectangular fanlight above a six-flush-panelled door. The eaves are plain, and the roof is tiled. Inside, the farmhouse boasts two impressive inglenook fireplaces and moulded ceiling beams on the ground floor. Home Farmhouse, The Farm, and The Green are part of a group of buildings.
