Description

58 Friar Gate is an 18th-century smaller house that stands two storeys tall. It is constructed of red brick and features three sash windows. The building has a stone plinth and an inset door set in a plain wood case. A moulded eaves cornice adds detail to the roof, which is covered in slates. This house is part of a group that includes Nos 27 to 32, the Friar Gate Railway Bridge, and Nos 35 to 39, as well as Nos 41 to 51 and No 47 Ford Street.
