Description

Numbers 18 and 20 on Bridge Street are early 19th-century buildings made of red brick. They stand three storeys tall and feature six sash windows, each with keyblocks and plain lintels. The buildings have a moulded stucco pilaster doorcase with a cornice hood supported by consoles, leading to a modern door. There is also a doorway that was formerly part of No 20, which has a Tuscan half-column doorcase, a fanlight above, a cornice, and a modern door, previously featuring a projecting porch. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 4 to 6, Nos 8, 10, and 56 to 60 on Friar Gate.
