Description
The forecourt walls to the north of Clarke Hall, along with the mounting blocks, date from the 17th or 18th century. The east wall is low, constructed of red brick on the outside and stone on the inside, featuring a flat coping. The taller stone wall to the west has urn-capped piers and a wrought iron gate. Mounting blocks are positioned on either side of the footpath that leads through the cobbled yard to the front door. The wall extends westward, incorporating another gateway.
