Description

This sundial, dated 1822, is located approximately 15 metres south of the Church of St. Mary. It features a low base made of sandstone, which is roughly 1 metre square but rounded on the south side. The sundial has a simple vase pedestal crafted from magnesian limestone, complete with a moulded foot and cap. The brass plate includes a scrolled gnomon and is inscribed with the words: "I. Froggatt Fecit 1822."
