N0RMANT0N HIGH STREET SE 32 SE (west side) 2/55 Tomb chest approx. 1 metre south of 1st bay of Chapel to Church of All Saints GV II

Tomb chest, c,1740. Commemorates Esther, wife of Thos. White (d. 1740). Sandstone. Fielded panel sides with rusticated quoins; rectangular lid with moulded edge; elegant seriffed lettering. Additions: Esther, Joseph and Anne, children of the above Thomas and Esther; Thomas and Anne, children of James White and his wife Ruth; and James White (d. 1755). (South side panels damaged at time of survey, 1986.)
