House, now store. Mid C18, altered. Red brick in Flemish bond, stone slate roof. Double-pile plan formed by single-depth front range with rear wings. Classical style. Two storeys and 5 bays, symmetrical; a pedimented 3-bay centre, breaking forwards slightly, has a large timber bay window replacing former openings (probably door and window) in the centre and right-hand side at ground floor, with 2 large sashed windows, a dentilled cornice and flat roof; to the right the 5th bay has a similar but smaller bay window with a 3-light French window (damaged), similar cornice, hipped pentice roof; all other windows are 4-pane sashes with flat-arched brick heads,and that at ground floor of the 1st bay has narrow side lights in addition. Dentilled cornice and pediment; hipped roof with 2 cruciform 4-flue chimney stacks on the ridge flanking the pediment. Left return wall altered by later additions and subsequent removal; right-hand return wall has windows similar to those at the front. Rear has three gabled wings. Interior: panelled stairwell containing C18 doglegged staircase with open string, scrolled brackets, 2 turned balusters per tread.
