Description
The piers and boundary wall located to the east of Burley Mills date from the mid-19th century. This low boundary wall is constructed from coursed squared gritstone blocks and features slab copings. It measures approximately 15 meters in length and stands four courses high, with flattened pyramid caps on the piers. The south end of the wall connects to the weaving shed range. The gateway once provided access to a drive leading to a footbridge over the river, reaching the south bank. This structure is included for its group value.
