Description

This is a row of ten cottages located in Woodfield Terrace, Pudsey, built in the early 19th century, with a later phase of construction. The cottages are constructed from hammer-dressed stone with stone slate roofs. They are two storeys high and each has one bay. Nos. 1 to 5 are stepped up along the terrace. Each cottage originally featured a three-light, flat-faced mullioned window with slightly recessed mullions on both floors. The outer cottages, Nos. 1 and 10, have doorways with monolithic jambs. The remaining cottages have paired doorways, sharing a common central jamb. Some cottages have windows inserted above the doorways. An eaves string and paired, moulded gutter brackets are present. The gables are coped, and there are five ridge stacks.
