Description

Nos. 68 and 70 on Hen Conner Lane are the service wing of Newton Villa, dating from the early 19th century and altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed squared gritstone and features a stone slate hipped roof. It is two storeys high with four first-floor windows. The front has two restored panelled doors with overlights set in sawn stone surrounds, and small-pane windows in plain architraves. There are paired sashes with a stone mullion on the far left, located on both the ground and first floors, which slightly project but are under the same eaves. A banded stack is positioned to the left and on the ridge at the center. The interior has not been inspected.
