Description

The boundary wall to numbers 66, 68, and 70, known as Newton Villa, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone and measures approximately 50 meters in length and 2 to 3 meters in height. The wall features rounded coping and runs along the road frontage, turning along the driveway to the service wing entrance of the house. On the west side, the wall is ramped up and has a flat coping. This structure is included for its group value with the associated villa.
