Description

Allerton Hall is a house dating from the late 18th century with 19th-century additions and 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond, with a slate hipped roof. The main part of the house is two storeys high and has two windows. It features flat brick arches with keystones and sash windows with glazing bars, set within plain stone sills. Four sashes are present on the ground floor, along with two glazed doors, and some 20th-century alterations have been made. To the left is a three-storey projecting wing from the early 19th century, which has a bowed front and three sash windows with glazing bars, as well as square windows to the top storey. The interior has not been inspected. Flats at Allerton Hall and Wensley House, located on Wensley Drive, are not included in this listing.
