Description
This footbridge, located approximately 50 meters south of Hawkes Farmhouse, is likely an 18th-century replacement for a ford. It is constructed from dressed stone and features a clapper bridge design, consisting of three long, well-cut rectangular stones. These stones are supported by two thin cutwaters with stop-chamfers at the top, which are in turn supported by rubble walls on each bank. A modern wooden handrail is present on the north side of the bridge. Nearby, there is a metalled ford.
