Description
The cross-base and shaft, located approximately 20 meters north-west of Butts Garth House, dates from the late medieval period, with the shaft possibly from the 18th century. The base is made of creamy limestone and features an octagonal shape with chamfered corners and carved stops. The short shaft is set into the center of the base and is constructed from gritstone.
