Description
No. 2 Ash Crescent is a house built in the late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared gritstone and features a stone slate roof. The house has two storeys and two bays, designed in the 17th-century 'cottage ornee' style. Notable architectural features include a central gabled porch, cross windows on the ground floor, and two gabled dormers. The eaves are deep and bracketed, with corniced stacks at the center and left end. The interior has not been inspected. This house was built in the style of a lodge house and was situated near the drive to Headingley Lodge and Headingley House, both of which have since been demolished.
