Description
This is a lodge built in the mid-19th century, located to the north of The Grange in Calverley. It is constructed from finely dressed stone and features a Welsh blue-slate roof. The building has two storeys and consists of a single cell that is double-depth with two bays. The first bay includes a doorway that has an overlight, consoles, and a cornice. To the right of the doorway, there are sash windows both on the ground floor and above, which have glazing bars, lintels, and sills. The lodge also has a cyma-moulded stone gutter and a hipped roof, with two well-dressed lateral stacks on the right side. This lodge is included in the listing for its group value with other nearby structures.
